The easing of covid-19 restrictions mean the 2023 event can go ahead under any covid-19 restrictions and participants will not need to show vaccination passes. But we suggest that you protect yourself and others in the following ways:
Entries prior to March 27 incur the "Early Bird" fees.
Entries after March 27 incur the "Late" fees.

Categories are set automatically via your date of birth on race day.
All participants, regardless of age, are eligible for Open and Age Group awards.
The walk categories are not official race walks. They are timed social walks that will award first three men & women. Recreational entrants intending to run/walk must enter a Run section.
The Full Marathon also doubles as the Canterbury Marathon Championship. To be eligible, marathoners must be members of an Athletics Canterbury Club.
